Welcome to the Smith Training Center. This is where you learn to get real value from Smith, from your very first login through building routines you rely on every week. This short page explains what the Training Center is for, how it differs from the rest of the Help Center, and the best place to begin.
What the Training Center Is For
Working well with an AI assistant is a skill worth building, and a fast one to pick up with a little guidance. The difference between a quick answer and a genuinely useful one usually comes down to a few habits: knowing what to ask for, giving Smith the right context, and spotting which tasks are worth handing over. The Training Center teaches those habits directly, in a sensible order, so you get more out of Smith with every session.
It is built to meet you wherever you are. On day one, you get a useful result in your first ten minutes. A few weeks in, you are grounding answers in your own files and combining moves into routines. With more time, you are building custom personas and saved workflows that pay off week after week. There is always a clear next step that fits your level.
Training Center vs. the rest of the Help Center
The rest of the Help Center answers "how does this feature work?", reference articles on conversations, prompts, personas, workspaces, security, and your plan. The Training Center answers a different question: "how do I get genuinely good at using Smith for my work?" One is the manual; this is the coaching. They work best together, and you will see links between them throughout.
The Learning Path
The Training Center is built as a path. You can jump in anywhere, but if you are new, this is the order that works best. Each step builds on the one before it.
What Smith is, what the screen looks like, and your first interaction. About 10 minutes. Open Getting Started.
A week-by-week plan. Do the steps in order; each links to the play or recipe it uses. Open First 30 Days.
A menu of single moves you can run right away, organized into 11 categories. Open the Playbook.
Short step-by-step sequences that combine moves for bigger results. Open Recipes.
Not Sure Where to Start?
If you would rather be handed a path than choose one, the Learning Tracks page groups everything by how much it asks of you, from quick one-minute wins to advanced setups. It is the gentlest on-ramp, and a good answer to "just tell me what to do first."
